Beaconsfield Upper properties tend to use hedging for two distinct purposes: privacy screening along road frontages, where Lilly Pilly, photinia and viburnum are the species of choice, and windbreak hedges on the exposed western and south-western elevations where properties open toward the Cardinia plain.
